Citations of the day

By Henry Kissinger:

  • Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.
  • If everybody is your enemy, then you are not paranoid.
  • Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.
  • Corrupt politicians make the other ten percent look bad.

Henry Kissinger, despite his bogus Nobel Prize, is a villain, an evil figure who didn't hesitate to put all his weight behind the CIA-backed coup in Chile and support Pinochet's bloody dictatorship through the end of the 1980s. The fact that you quote him makes me shudder. Shame on you!

I must admit I'm not sufficiently familiar with HK's doings to argue or agree with you.
I still think the citations, regardless of the person who said them in the first place, are interesting and quite true in themselves.
